We all know the famous book title, “Men are from
Mars, Women are from Venus”. But what about teenage boys and
teenage girls – what planets are they from?!?
Teen Talk gives teenage girls and teenage boys the unique opportunity
to find out how the other half thinks. What worries them? What annoys
them? Why do they say the things they say? Through a series of always
entertaining, sometimes moving, monologues and role plays, Teen Talk
addresses a range of important issues for young people, including:
- Identity
- Dating
- Body image and puberty
- Peer pressure
- Jealousy, trust and respect
- Bullying, Harassment, Homophobia and
Homosexuality
- Assertiveness, coercion and consent
- Loss of virginity
- Safe sex and pregnancy
- Friendships, relationships and, of course…..
- Relating to members
of the opposite sex!
The monologues in Teen Talk are based on real life accounts from
real women and men. Stories will be modified or deleted to suit all
age groups or religious beliefs of the audience.
